The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in investor relations or the capital markets, preferably in an agency environment. A strong understanding of finance and accounting is required along with demonstrated knowledge of IR fundamentals and best practices. Strong interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication, organization, and computer skills are a must. This position requires the ability to successfully perform multiple tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail, while working alongside staff in a fast-paced team environment. Responsibilities will include interfacing with clients in strategic planning meetings, targeting and marketing to institutional investors and sellside analysts, roadshow planning, financial news media relations, drafting and editing press releases, conference call scripts and investor presentations, and overall account management and senior level consultation.
