What most attracts me to IR is the opportunity to build the connection between a company and the capital markets. This work requires IR professionals to pursue a deep understanding of both the capital markets and our clients’ value. We must become good storytellers on our clients’ behalf. I relish working and communicating closely with clients to learn more about their business logic and development strategies, helping them identify their business’ highlights and advantages, and finding appropriate investors with complementary interests and goals – that is always the most appealing aspect of IR for me.

My experience at PwC gives me a solid foundation in assessing a company from a finance standpoint and understanding how companies’ business results and financial results influence each other. In addition, from my work with U.S.-listed TMT companies at PwC, I gained valuable knowledge and experience surrounding the earnings release and annual report filing processes. At the same time, I acquired efficient and effective communication skills and enhanced my critical thinking and attention to detail, soft skills that will also help me deliver high-quality work to my clients at Piacente.
