  • Why did you join Piacente?

During my internship at Piacente, I developed an interest in IR while learning the basics of how investor relations accounts function. Under the team’s guidance, I quickly gained skills and learned a lot about the IR industry, as well as the industries of the companies we serve. This introduction made me realize that I really want to learn more about IR and that Piacente offered very valuable work experience.

  • What aspect of IR do you enjoy most?

I enjoy working with my team to provide clients with high-quality results that satisfy their needs. As a team, we each lend our expertise and leverage everyone’s strengths to achieve our goal. Specifically, I love research, through which I have gained knowledge of  finance, capital markets, writing and much more.

  • How does your background support your position at Piacente?

I majored in Finance in college, so I have a strong understanding of the securities market which helps me to easily grasp many IR concepts. What’s more, over the past four years with Piacente, I have accumulated valuable IR experience and have become familiar with solutions to frequently-asked questions and client requests. This solid foundation has honed my instincts for IR and helps me handle our clients’ work efficiently.

  • What is the most valuable part of your IR experience that is utilized most often?

Information collection and organization. I’m good at wading through a large amount of information and discerning what’s most important for our team and client.

  • How are Piacente clients unique?

Each one of Piacente’s clients has its own core competencies in any given industry. Piacente is devoted to providing specialized services according to each company’s characteristics and needs. That is just one of the many reasons why Piacente is unique.
