  • Why did you join Piacente?

I have had a dual career in opera and finance for most of my life. I stumbled into investor relations at a private equity firm and found that it was a great fit for my skill set. I joined Piacente when I was looking for a new challenge that could leverage my writing and editing skills. While I enjoy working with individual investors, I wanted to broaden my experience to public companies and communications with the Street.

  • What aspect of IR do you enjoy most?

Communications! Ultimately, my passion for writing and communications is what has inspired me to build a career in IR. Communication is also at the heart of what I do as a singer, and I enjoy using those same skills to help our clients hone their messaging.

  • What is the most important value Piacente provides to its clients?

I think attention to detail is our key differentiator. Piacente partners with clients to create a comprehensive, individualized IR program, and our teams work tirelessly to perfect each element. Our dedication to client service is unparalleled.

  • What part of your background has helped you succeed in IR?

My early experience in equity research and marketing gave me a solid understanding of the financial markets, which has been incredibly valuable. Also, my operatic training included an enormous amount of foreign language study, which sharpened my English grammar and writing skills.

  • What do you think makes Piacente a unique place to work?

Piacente’s commitment to teamwork and our employees’ diverse skills and backgrounds encourage a supportive, collaborative culture.
