  • Why did you join Piacente?

I initially joined Piacente as an intern. During my internship, I developed a keen interest in IR and its important role in the capital markets. TPG has a great reputation and the working atmosphere is dynamic and friendly. I felt like it was a great place to utilize my background and learn and grow as a professional.

  • What aspect of IR do you enjoy most?

I love most parts of the IR work I do. I especially enjoy preparing and editing press releases and earnings releases for clients, through which I get to know clients’ businesses better. They also give me an opportunity to introduce clients’ stories to the capital markets, realizing my career value as an IR professional.

  • What is the most important value Piacente provides to its clients?

Helping our clients raise their profile among analysts and investors and gain greater recognition in the capital market is an important part of how we add value for our clients.

  • What part of your background has helped you succeed in IR?

Prior to working at Piacente, I earned a master’s degree in finance and a bachelor’s degree in foreign languages and international economics. This combination really gives me a solid foundation in understanding the capital market forces that influence investor relations.

  • What do you think makes Piacente a unique place to work?

Piacente has been around since 2005 and has a well-developed talent training program. I get to work alongside IR veterans and be part of a team that crafts IR solutions for leading companies across China. Everybody on the team contributes. I think that is what makes Piacente so extraordinary and our deliverables so valuable to clients.
